Often, products arrive in the country with the wrong labels, packed incorrectly, can get damaged in transit and the list goes on. Or, in other scenarios, maybe you need to run a special and would like products to be packed in a specific way to go to market. These are all reasons why value-added services are a critical part of warehousing and logistics.
Getting the work done in the same warehouse that stores your stock means no double handling, no extra freight to a separate co-packer, and stock records that stay accurate.

Labelling, quality checks, re-packing, kitting, co-packing, assembly, returns and recalls, all done on site in our Auckland warehouse so your stock is ready for market.

All value added work is done inside our Auckland warehouse, where your stock is already stored, so there is no double handling and no extra freight to a separate co-packer.
We add or replace labels so your products meet New Zealand compliance and customer requirements. That includes relabelling stock straight off a container, applying retailer-specific price labels, and adding product barcodes and SSCC carton and pallet labels so stock scans correctly at retailer and supermarket distribution centres. See how this works for DIY big box suppliers and supermarket suppliers.
We check incoming and outgoing stock against your specification: packaging, labels, quantities and condition. Damaged or non-conforming items are separated and reported to you before they reach your customer.
We repack stock into new cartons when outers are damaged, when a retailer needs a different pack size, or when products need preparing for a specific channel, such as pharmacy. Food re-packing is done in our HACCP and RMP certified warehouse.
We combine products into bundles, gift packs, multi-packs, promotional packs and display shippers for supermarket and retail promotions, and build kits for ecommerce orders, ready to pick and ship.
Where it suits our core sectors (FMCG, food, health, DIY and hardware, and ecommerce), we can assemble or prepare products before they are dispatched. Talk to us about what you need.
Returned goods are received, checked to your instructions and either restocked, reworked or written off. Because every batch and delivery is recorded, we can trace and recall affected stock quickly by batch, date or delivery address. Read more about inventory control, traceability and recalls.
Applying retailer price labels to individual products before they are delivered, so stock goes straight onto the shelf when it arrives in store.
Inspecting stock on arrival and before dispatch, checking packaging, labels, counts and condition, and reporting any issues back to you.
Repacking and relabelling products into the formats pharmacies and health wholesalers need, ready for delivery to their distribution centres and stores.
Send us the job: the products, quantities, labels or packaging, and any retailer requirements. A sample or photo helps.
Regular, repeat work is usually priced per unit. One-off or variable jobs are usually priced on labour hours, depending on the stock and requirements.
Our team completes the work in our Auckland warehouse, checking quality as we go, so your stock never leaves our care.

Value added services (VAS) are extra tasks a 3PL warehouse does to your stock before it is dispatched, such as labelling, quality inspections, re-packing, kitting, co-packing, assembly, returns processing and recalls. They get your products retail-ready without sending them to a separate supplier.
